Victor is a passionate social impact investor and experienced advisory board member, with more than 25 years of leading and growing technology businesses in various regions of the world. He has a strong background in sales, marketing, and technology, and has successfully executed strategies that have resulted in profitable growth, strategic partnerships, and social good.
As Vice President of Sales & Marketing and Managing Director of Asia and Emerging Markets at National Instruments, Victor built and led an 800-person multicultural team across three continents, generating over $300 million in annual revenue with a $100 million operating budget. He also founded and chaired the Board of Advisors for Planet NI, a program that has partnered with development agencies such as USAID and World Bank and supported over 1500 engineers in 500 SMEs across 23 emerging countries to achieve sustainable prosperity.
Victor is an active member and investor of SWAN, having participated in down selections, due diligence teams, and special projects. He has invested in several social impact startups, especially in the energy, education, and health sectors. He also served on the Advisory Board for the Dean of Engineering at the University of Texas at San Antonio, and advises start-ups and Angel investors in Austin, TX, leveraging his expertise to drive success and growth for emerging companies.
