Cody West’s professional work experience covers tax law, finance, real estate, and public policy.
In these roles, a number of his responsibilities have included, but were not limited to: performing due diligence on equity and debt offerings; reviewing companies’ financial models and statements; recommending investment products to public and private investors; managing the development process for multi-million dollar real estate projects; editing, negotiating and drafting multi-million dollar investment contracts; advising companies and C-Suite executives on federal and state business tax credits; and counseling elected officials at the federal, state, and local levels on legal and political issues.
Cody earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center and B.S. summa cum laude from Texas State University. Cody is a licensed attorney and member of the State Bar of Texas.
