The SWAN Impact Network has chapters in Austin, Dallas and Houston

Austin is impact entrepreneurial hub

Austin has been ranked the No. 1 among the country’s 20 best cities for startups and entrepreneurs, based upon startup density, tech job market expansion, and millennial population growth. And Austin is home to major Tech corporations including Dell, Oracle and Tesla.

The top industries in Dallas/Ft. Worth are technology, financial services, oil and gas, manufacturing, and aviation and aerospace. The area’s fledgling tech companies are targeting a variety of pivotal sectors, from fintech to real estate tech.

Houston is a world leader in the healthcare and energy sectors, sectors that align well with SWAN’s impact focus. The Texas Medical Center is the largest medical center in the world, with 21 hospitals, eight academic and research institutions, and 50 total related organizations. And Houston is home to energy corporations like Conoco Phillips and Marathon, and is the center of the petrochemical industry.

Additionally, SWAN has impact angel investors from across the country. And SWAN sees deal flow from impact startup companies from across the US.

All SWAN members, whether they reside in a chapter city or are are remote from those chapters,  have full access to all of our deal flow. And all members can attend all SWAN pitch events, either in person or via zoom simulcast.
