Will Mehring

Will Mehring is an MD/MBA Candidate at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine and Marshall School of Business. He has a B.S. in Neuroscience from the University of California Santa Barbara, where he conducted independent research in neurostimulation and graduated with High Honors and Distinction in the Major. During his gap year before medical school, he worked at Stanford University on a multi-site clinical trial to create a multimodal dataset of traumatic brain injuries in college football players. This work has since been published in Nature: Scientific Reports and has been covered by The New York Times. In medical school, Will was awarded a USC Gehr Center Student Innovator Award, has published multiple first-author publications on digital health platforms, and serves as a reviewer for multiple high-impact healthcare journals. In his free time, Will loves playing basketball and volleyball and spending time outdoors.
