Rick Reeder is committed to improving economic empowerment, education and health.
In 2007 Rick founded the non-profit African Leadership Bridge and currently serves as Chairman of the Board. The African Leadership Bridge brings amazing students and future leaders to the US for a University education, so that they can return to Africa and create a continent in which all people can reach their potential. In his work there, Rick performed all of the activities required to create and run an entity; including legal documentation, 501c3 creation, strategy, branding, fundraising, staffing, board development and executive leadership.
Rick previously spent six years of supporting the Austin chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. Under his leadership, the Austin chapter diversified funding sources, engaged new community health partners and grew the board in terms of experience and reach.
Rick also has deep technical and commercial experience in IT solutions, including purchasing, implementing IT infrastructure and applications, as well as creating, launching and marketing technology solutions for customers. He grasps new technologies and industry trends quickly and is a tremendously effective leader, which makes him an ideal mentor for launching or transforming business. Rick has directly led organizations of 100+ people as well as directed cross-functional teams on multi-million dollar, multi-year IT programs
