David Waldron brings a wealth of social impact experience to the advisory board.
David currently serves as Vice President for Information Technology at St. Edward’s University, an institution with a deep, authentic focus on the promotion of social justice and the social good. David co-founded ATX Hack for Change, the largest annual social/civic hackathon in Austin. He is currently working to create a Center for Social Innovation at St. Edward’s. The center will work to identify, create and enhance opportunities for community service; active and community-based learning; student-faculty collaborative research; and faculty scholarship with the potential to make contributions to the well-being of Austin and the world beyond. The center will work to foster collaboration within the university to amplify the impact of these activities. The center will also work to form partnerships with appropriate entities within the Austin community and to leverage these partnerships to amplify the impact of these activities still further.
