Bob Bridge has 30 years of start-up company experience, including 15 years as a founding CEO. His experience includes two years at Austin Ventures as an Entrepreneur in Residence, and raising $60M from investors for his companies including $1.5M from angel networks located in Austin, Houston and Fort Worth. The majority of the start-up companies have had successful exits through acquisition by public companies.
Bob actively mentors start-up companies, helping the founding teams with market and business plan validation, and creating a viable plan for generating revenue. Bob mentors at the Capital Factory, at UnLtd and at the International Accelerator.
In 2003 he became a co-founder of the Austin Chapter of the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship, and continues to serve on its steering committee. Additionally, since 2008 he has been an instructor at the Austin Rice Alliance Entrepreneur Workshop.
Bob has a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University Of Texas in Austin, and is an active member of University Presbyterian Church, where he is an Elder and Assistant Treasurer, and where he taught 2-year-old Sunday school for 26 years.
